Chuck Houck was
born in Dayton, Ohio on October 22, 1942. After graduating From WRHS in
1960, Chuck attended The University of Georgia where he attained a BS
degree in Elementary and Secondary Education in 1965. Chuck continued
his studies and was awarded his Master's degree in Elementary education
in 1968. He taught elementary school for 7 years and became a
rehabilitation Counselor where he stayed for 17 years. Chuck also taught
adult education for 7 years before retiring. Chuck met his wife
Linda and they
were married in Savannah on March 18, 1985. The couple have two children
Jennifer and Jimmy. Jennifer is married and has presented Chuck and
Linda with a grandaughter.
Jimmy has just turned 21 years of age.
