David Soley
David was born in the United Kingdom and was schooled in England and Ireland
before moving to the states with his parents. After graduating high school,
David attended Middle Georgia College and The University of Georgia in Athens.
David has spent the past 32 years with Dresser Industries, Inc.
Most recently David held the title of Vice President and Director of
International Business Development with oversight for corporate sales and
marketing for the Caribbean, Latin America, Central America and Mexico. David
and Donna Elena live in Santa Fe, New Mexico very near Donna's ancestral home
which ranks as one of the oldest standing structures in the country having been
built in the early 1600s when Spanish conquistadors moved into the region with
28 Spanish families to settle and build homes. The photo shows David and
Donna Elena while they were visiting the ancient ruins of an Incan village in
Peru.
Since
retiring, David has managed to stay busy indulging some life long interests such
as bird hunting, fly fishing & our garden. He continues to provide consultation
to the natural gas industry, with focus to government liaison and route to
market in Latin America & Mexico. David and Donna plan to take advantage of the
weather and divide their time seasonally between Santa Fe and their home in
Mexico.
