Don lives in Warner Robins, and married the former Joyce Phillips (class of 62) around 45 years ago. They have two children, Dale and Leslie, who between the two of them, graced Don and Joyce with four grandchildren, Logan and Alyssa Lorenz (Leslie's children) and Ansley and Riley (Dale's daughters). Don retired from the USPS in 1998 and tried to stay home and be lazy. That didn't appeal to him so he tried a variety of 'fun' jobs, including working with NAMI in Warner Robins, running a flight school (Southeastern) at Herbert Smart in Macon, and teaching at the Vocational School in Warner Robins. He is presently the Director of I.T. at the Methodist Home for Children and Youth in Macon, where he is constantly afraid they are going to find out how much he enjoys playing with their computers and will make him pay them to work there. Don is active in Centerville UMC, EAA38, and barbershop chorus.
