| Linda Shirley was born on March 31, 1942 in Thomaston, GA but moved to Barnesville early in life. After graduating from WRHS, she met Wallace in college and married him. They have three children, Jennifer, Matt, and Wesley. Matt and his wife, Nell (Lt Col. Ret-USAF) live in Virginia. They have two sons, Jackson and Tyler. Nell retired from the air force after a tour of duty in Afghanistan for three months. Jennifer and her husband, Jim Cowart and their children Alyssa and Josh live in Kathleen, GA. They are the couple who started the Harvest Church in Centerville, GA. Wesley, the youngest of the Twiggs children, his wife Ginger and their two daughters, live in Columbus where Wesley is an engineer with a national company there. After Wallace retired the couple traveled to Europe on a cruise and the bottom right photo shows them in Nice, France. |
