Monroe Wood
| |
|
(From Gordon Rowe)
A
lot of words can be used to describe almost any man of any sort. My occasions
to be in Woody's presence have left me searching for words
better than "kind", "generous", "loving", and "humanistic" because they
don't seem to adequately describe him. He seems to go out of his way to
make you feel welcome in his presence. When
I first started writing this dialogue about Monroe, I didn't know him
very well at all but now that I've met and talked with him and received
his generosity and kindness, and, I still don't know a whole lot about
Woody. Ray Baggett thinks an awful lot of him and that is enough for me.
Monroe lives up in Marietta, GA and is involved in some type of computer
work. His life long love passed away a couple of years ago and that's
enough to take a toll on anyone who doesn't have Woody's zest for life. |
